when radio city needed a spectacular logo,
saint niclas delivered the magic.
when greg niclas aka: “junior watson” designed the 75th anniversary logo for the legendary radio city christmas spectacular, he created a christmas conundrum. how do we leverage the enormous success of last season’s 75th logo while setting the tone for the next 75 years?
his answer? showcase the best of both. drawing from the iconic elements of the venue: the towering vertical marquees, the glowing neon, the soaring wooden soldier and the proscenium that frames the great stage, greg infused the magical feeling of a child’s first visit to the great hall, while retaining the dynamic perspective of the 75th celebration. it’s a logo befitting the most spectacular holiday brand of them all. brought to us by a guy with gifts galore.

a chicago icon gets a logo lift.
if you know anything about chicago, you know that it’s a city that takes great pride in its heritage. great pride. so when our wonderful client, madison square garden entertainment bought the chicago theatre and needed a new logo, our collective goal was clear and simple: be respectful of the venue. a nip here, a tuck there, and a new logo was born. fresher than ever, but definitely the same beautiful icon chicagoans have loved for generations.

the liberty and the watsons
take to the great outdoors.
on july 19th, at 7:30pm, the new york liberty did something no other professional hoops team had ever done before. they played under the stars at the u.s. opens’ famed arthur ashe stadium. with more than 19,000 fans strong, the liberty took on the indiana fever in a night filled with thrills, chills, music, dance, fireworks and even a post-game performance by the boys from menudo. never before have so many had such a good time defending their liberty. on to the playoffs!

pretty suite. happy watsons hosted happy clients. from left: jennifer williams (the watsons), thomas henning (cable positive), judy mann (jewish funders network) and matthew morgan (the watsons).

how to achieve favorite aunt status. our client, patrice armour (cable positive), brought nephews casey and bj. could they be any cuter? that would be “no.”

an iphone thriller to the max.
and the winner of our “test your wattage” sweepstakes and owner of a brand new iphone is max johnson from cable positive (cablepositive.org). congrats, max and thanks to all who played. we hope you found it enjoyable and enlightening. and to those who wish to express any discontentment about losing, you can reach max on his new phone at 212-555-9876. just kidding.
